I used windshield urethane on my side skirts, didn't need any fasteners at all, just need to tape them well while it dries. Stuff is extremely strong, I'd actually be worried about damaging the paint if I had to remove it. Another note, be careful when using it, and wear gloves. As it is super messy and gets on everything it touches
